William J. White, 79, Palmer Apartments, died early Sunday morning in Culver Hospital. He was a retired truck driver. He was born March 3, 1893, a son of Dave and Lida White. He was married to Florence Courtney. Survivors include two sons, Robert F. of Corona, Calif., and Walter E. of Lafayette; three daughters, Mildred Davey of National City, Calif., Cathy Sanders of Indianapolis and Dorothy Hazelrigg of Indianapolis; a brother, Leslie C. of Americus; a sister, Mrs. Merle Etter of Lafayette; 19 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Dick Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
